Overseas Voter Registration for Australia & New Zealand: 15 May to 22 May, 2022.
WHO CAN REGISTER?
Anyone who:
1.Has reached the age of 18 years;
2.Is a citizen of Fiji;
3.Is not serving a sentence of imprisonment of 12 months or longer imposed by a court of law in Fiji or another country;
4. Under a law in force in Fiji, is not declared to have a mental disorder;
We are able to assist in any of the following:
1. New registrations – Form
2. Update or correction of voter details – Form
3. Replacement of Electronic Voter Registration [EVR] card – Form
HOW TO REGISTER?
For new registrations, we will need you to complete a Voter Registration and Update Form and submit the following to your nearest Voter Registration Centre:
- Fijian Birth Certificate or Certificate of Citizenship
- A valid Fijian passport.
The ‘Voter Registration and Update Form’ will need to be completed for the following requests:
- Update of your residential address
- Change in your name
- Correction in the date of birth
- Replacement of lost/stolen EVR card
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I HAVE REGISTERED?
Once you have been successfully registered as a voter you will be issued a VoterCard.
