Elections play an important role in the democratic process of any country. Section 52 of the Constitution of the Republic of Fiji 2013 requires the members of Parliament to be chosen by secret ballot in a free and fair election. FEO strives to incorporate international best practices whey they accord with Fiji’s electoral legal framework.

If you are from a media organisation, freelance journalist, broadcaster or publisher, you will be required to be accredited if you are planning to cover the 2022 General Election. 

You will be required to submit the following to FEO:

1. Completed 2022 General Election Media Accreditation Form (per Applicant).
2. 1 digital copy of your colored passport size photo (35mm x 45mm). This must be taken with a white colored background.

There is no fee associated to this accreditation process.
