Considering the general health and safety of our prospective staff and as a matter of precaution, the Fijian Elections Office has no option but to postpone the Phase 2 Recruitment Drive for Election Officials which was to take place from 10 January to 11 February, 2022.
We are currently liaising with the Ministry of Health to organize this critical component of general election preparations and once the protocols are determined and finalized, we will be making announcements accordingly.
In the meantime, we will be exploring other options including but not limited to an online Recruitment Drive. On this note, we also wish to advise that the first round of training of Election Officials which was also to begin on 10th January, has been postponed.
We wish all our prospective applicants a safe new year and we thank you for your continued interest in delivering the 2022 General Election.
