The Fijian Elections Office (FEO) has recorded 723,771 registered voters on the National Register of Voters (NRV) as at 30 June 2026, following the completion of a comprehensive data-cleaning exercise.
Supervisor of Elections, Ms Ana Mataiciwa, said the updated figures provide the FEO with an important basis for its preparations for the upcoming General Election.
From the total registered voters, 362,438 are male, and 361,333 are female.
“All voter registrations received by the FEO as at 30 June underwent a data-cleaning exercise in the months of July and August, 2026. This was carried out in collaboration with the Births, Deaths and Marriages Office, the Fiji National Provident Fund, the Fiji Corrections Service and the Ministry of Immigration,” said Ms Mataiciwa.
A total of 313,135 voters are recorded in the Central Division, 270,175 in the Western Division, 102,304 in the Northern Division, 25,266 in the Eastern Division and 12,891 overseas.
The Supervisor of Elections said the updated figures will guide the FEO’s preparations for the upcoming General Election, including its planning for polling operations and voter services.
“Maintaining an accurate and credible National Register of Voters is fundamental to the integrity of the electoral process. The FEO remains committed to ensuring that every eligible Fijian has the opportunity to exercise their right to vote,” said Ms Mataiciwa.
