Today, members of the Fijian Elections Office (FEO) teams provided Voter Registration and Awareness Services at the Tikina Nakelo Youth Awareness Program at the Nakelo District School in Nausori.
The event involved Fijians of all ages, allowing the FEO teams to assist eligible voters with Voter Card updates and replacements, as well as providing civic education and awareness to present youths.
Participants engaging with the services were reminded that Voting is a choice, but a united approach is what helps shape Fiji’s future positively, highlighting the importance of Voter participation.
Participants were also provided with information on the Election Management Bodies, Voter Registration Requirements, and the three (3) Methods of Voting, strengthening the foundations of their election knowledge and understanding.
As the FEO teams concluded their services at the Tikina Nakelo Youth Awareness Program, the FEO extends its heartfelt appreciation towards the event organisers and the participants for their invitation and engagement, helping the community be election-ready.
