The Fijian Elections Office [‘FEO’] has commenced another round of Voter List verifications with community leaders, heads of villages and Turaga-ni-Koros [‘TNK’].

In announcing the additional round of verification, Director Operations, Ms Anaseini Senimoli said that the FEO is taking advantage of another opportunity to verify the Voter Lists with TNKs and other community leaders so as to ensure that at the times the election is called, the voter list is as accurate as possible.

“In the meantime, the FEO is looking at conducting another round of Overseas Voter Registrations and more details on this will be announced in due course,” Ms Senimoli said.

She added the FEO is also planning to conduct a Nationwide Voter Registration Drive in the month of August.

“In anticipation of the election, more announcements will be made in the coming days,” Ms Senimoli said.

“Any Fijian who has not yet upgraded to the Blue VoterCard, can do so at the nearest Voter Services Centre,” she added.
