The Fijian Elections Office (FEO) is currently conducting its Training of Trainers (ToT) for Field Trainers in the Northern Division as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its training capacity ahead of future electoral activities.
The two-day programme is designed to provide participants with the core skills and knowledge required to become effective trainers. Participants will learn how to plan, facilitate, and deliver training sessions that support the preparation of election officials for Election Day operations.
The programme also focuses on developing participants’ communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, enabling them to confidently engage with and assist fellow election officials during training activities.
Through interactive learning sessions and practical exercises, participants are encouraged to build their confidence and strengthen their ability to deliver clear, consistent, and effective training. The programme equips participants with the tools needed to support the FEO’s training initiatives and contribute to the development of election teams.
The ToT’s for Field trainers shapes part of the FEO’s commitment to building a skilled workforce and maintaining high standards of training across all divisions.
