Approximately 44 Central and Eastern Division Field Trainers from the Fijian Elections Office (FEO) are part of the two-day Training of Trainers (ToTs) program conducted today (03 September) as the third and final session, while training for the Western and Northern Division Field Trainers will take place next week from Monday, 07 September to Tuesday, 08 September, in advance of the upcoming training for recruited Election Officials (EOs).
The next two days will include two training sessions being conducted simultaneously, equipping the Field Trainers with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to effectively train the EOs.
Once the ToTs program is completed for all Field Trainers, they will be deployed to the Central, Western, Northern and Eastern Divisions later this month to begin training the recruited EOs.
This final round of training is an integral part of the FEO’s ongoing efforts to ensure that EOs are thoroughly trained and prepared to fulfil their responsibilities effectively during the electoral process for the upcoming General Election.
