A total of 723,771 Fijians have been registered on the National Register of Voters (NRV) as at 30 June, 2026.
From the total registered voters, 362,438 are male, and 361,333 are female.
Supervisor of Elections Ms Ana Mataiciwa said the updated figures provide the FEO with an important basis for its preparations for the upcoming General Election.
Ms Mataiciwa said all voter registrations received by the FEO as at 30 June underwent a data-cleaning exercise in the months of July and August, 2026.
“This was carried out in collaboration with the Births, Deaths and Marriages Office, the Fiji National Provident Fund, the Fiji Corrections Service and the Ministry of Immigration,” said Ms Mataiciwa.
“A total of 313,135 voters are recorded in the Central Division, 270,175 in the Western Division, 102,304 in the Northern Division, 25,266 in the Eastern Division and 12,891 overseas.
“The updated figures will guide the FEO’s preparations for the upcoming General Election, including its planning for polling operations and voter services.”
Ms Mataiciwa emphasised that maintaining an accurate and credible National Register of Voters is fundamental to the integrity of the electoral process and the FEO remains committed to ensuring that every eligible Fijian has the opportunity to exercise their right to vote.
