Following the verification exercise, the Supervisor of Elections [‘SoE’] has approved 41 nominations submitted by the Fiji Labour Party, whilst three (3) nominations remain pending further verification.
On the same note the SoE has also approved 51 nominations from the National Federation Party whilst four (4) nominations remain to be further verified.
The nomination by independent candidate Ravinesh Reddy has also been approved following the verification exercise this afternoon.
This brings the total number of approved candidates for the 2022 General Election to 99.
