The Fijian Elections Office (FEO) – as part of its 2015 – 2019 Strategic Plan, has to ensure that there is always a well-informed community capable of actively participating in electoral process. [Goal 9, Objective 1, Activity 31]

To achieve this goal, the FEO intends to develop a civic/voter education curriculum for mainstreaming into the secondary school sector. The FEO wants to engage with the Ministry of Education (and other key stakeholders), to create an ‘Introductions to Elections’ curriculum for inclusion into secondary school sector (social studies). Ideally, FEO would like to pilot the curriculum in some schools in late 2017, or early 2018 subject to approval from the Ministry of Education.

Therefore, the FEO is seeking an Expression of Interest (EoI) from qualified individual interested in undertaking the “Curriculum Development Project for Secondary Schools” titled “Introduction to Elections in Fiji” based on the terms of reference available on Curriculum Development Project for Secondary School

Please send in your EoI documents to feec@feo.org.fj or drop it in the bin provided at the FEO Headquarters at 59- 63 High Street, Toorak or at Voter Services Centre, Shop 10, GPO Building, 10 Thomson Street, Suva marked “EoI – Curriculum Development Project” by 4.00pm Fiji time on Friday, 09 June, 2017.
