This Psalm 139 can be rendered as a song of praise to God for being all-knowing. This rendition of the verse, though admittedly awkward, has the advantage of consistency with the immediate context of the verse. But this claim contradicts all the explicit declarations in Scripture which state that God does frequently modify his plans and…, “Whoever strikes a person mortally shall be put to death.
